M&G will 'vigorously' contest interdict.

I am a person who believes that the truth must always be told no matter how disturbing it is. I must say I am truly charmed by the fact that the two M&G reporters refused to keep this 'yet-to-be-published' story underraps. This type of behaviour is hard to find nowadays with some reporters.

My guess is that this 'unknown' matter is quite serious and might cause some comotion but I still stick on my word which is that the truth be told. I hope the court will decide what is right and best for each individual involved with this case. Also, if the M&G find it very rewarding for this story to be told, then I can only advice their story be told.

Boycott Shoprite Checkers, says COSATU.

Many cases are confirming my assumptions of people seriously loosing the humanity if they once possessed it. Those who work very hard and for long hours are always the ones who are paid less and their plees are never met. Yes, the CEO deserves a good share of the cake because he too was involved in making shoprite the big successful store that it is now, but also, those who are still in possession of positions in the company , mostly the people lowest in the hierachy, must also get a taste of the cake too.

At a certain point in time , I thought people were just misusing strikes as a way to not only take a break from work but also to demand the impossible. But now, I realise that people are just trying to express themselves and demand what they believe they deserve. I hope negotiations between COSATU and Shoprite will succeed and little time will be wasted because time is money.

Dept of justice working to find freed suspects.

Not once in my life have I had of any accused being released without trial. How do individuals in custody get released without trial yet the rate of crime in this country is so high? If what the Kimberly magistrate did is true, then I hope those in authority give her a hard slap on the hand. If her working hours were over, then I believe she should have just left the matter to be solved the following day not just dismiss it without looking into the core of the matter.

Now, there is possibility that those who threaten to be danger to society are out there because they have been given a second chance to do as they please.

XDR TB

Thanks to God there is a cure for this extremely drug resistant TB at last. I was seriously beginning to worry mostly because I leave in Durban and this XDR TB seems to reigns here. Im also thankful that the government's response to this deadly issue was fast and effective. The fact that treatment is also going to be affordable as stipulated is indeed amusing. Safed by the government, bravo!

Woman in court for hoax hijaking.

What on God's earth possessed this woman to make these silly claims? Let me guess, she has some new psychological illness that trigerred her mind into thinking in a certain 'crazy' way? Or is it just seeking attention? Well, if I were a psychologist I would know. But being without that psychological knowledge, I think this woman should be seriously punished for wasting SAPS' time and resources. In fact, I hope the courts find a means of making her pay for all those resources she put to waste.

A large amount of police's time that would have been used to help and solve many other cases was wasted on what? An attention seeker? My plee to the courts and those with power in this country is to pass and implement seriously strict laws that should make individuals think twice each time they attempt to commit a stupid crime like this one. Because if indeed this woman was seeking attention, if this was her cry for help, well thank God South Africa claims more than enough psychologists hence matters like this can be avoided.

Lastly, to the public, there's something called communicaton and help out there. So if anyone sulks and insists they need more than a triple dose of daily family love, please hear them out and once that's done, tell them to get a life!

It may take 20 years. But al-Qaeda's days are numbered.

Are al-Qaeda's days really numbered? A part of me wants to believe that indeed say 20 years from now Osama bin Laden's name will just be in the history books and there'll be serenity and peace reigning between the middle east and America, but part of me thinks this war will never end just like the rest of the wars in this world. Its intriguing how the world always seem to have the theoretical answer to solving problems but yet implimenting it is quite a hassle.

I am one of those who believe in peace talks and say that if people talk and negotiate, a better solution can be reached. I wish this war in the middle east, America and in the rest of the world would just end. In fact, i believe that all parties should come to an agreement and compromise for the sake of all those who get caught up in this war web and end up paying with their own lives. Lives of innocent people should not be paying for the fight of power between those who want to be the main or only rulers.

What is more in these cases? Those calling the shots or those losing their lives? Whose names should be in history books? Osama bin Laden, George Bush or Sarah Matthews-just an ordinary woman whose life paid for this war?
